LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Mary Beth Mastrianni upon the occasion
of her designation for special recognition by the Parish of Mater
Christi on April 9, 2016

WHEREAS, From time to time this Legislative Body takes note of certain
extraordinary individuals it wishes to recognize for their valued
contributions to the success and progress of society and publicly
acknowledge their endeavors which have enhanced the basic humanity among
us all; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Mary Beth
Mastrianni upon the occasion of her designation for special recognition
by the Parish of Mater Christi to be celebrated at its 10th Annual
Spring Fling on Saturday, April 9, 2016, at the Albany Country Club,
Voorheesville, New York; and
WHEREAS, An active member of the Parish of Mater Christi, Mary Beth
Mastrianni is the mother of two sons who attended Mater Christi School;
while her boys were in school, she was an active assistant, regularly
serving as room parent, chaperone and volunteer; and
WHEREAS, In addition, this remarkable woman was a participant of the
school board for two terms, and today, she is helping the school through
the accreditation process; and
WHEREAS, Always ready to help, Mary Beth Mastrianni was the co-founder
of the Spring Fling event, and served on the parish Golf Tournament
committee; and
WHEREAS, A proud alumni of a Catholic school in Syracuse, New York,
Mary Beth Mastrianni is truly dedicated to the ideals of her faith and
strives to assist young people to see and understand the role of faith
in one's daily life and in the larger society; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when a person
of such noble aims and accomplishments is brought to our attention, it
is appropriate to publicly and jubilantly proclaim and commend that
individual for the edification of others; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Mary Beth Mastrianni upon the occasion of her designation for
special recognition by the Parish of Mater Christi on April 9, 2016; and
be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Mary Beth Mastrianni.
