LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Dr. Florence Lazaroff upon the occa-
sion of her designation for special recognition by the SULLIVAN COUNTY
DEMOCRAT honoring the 2015 Professional Women and Women in Business

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve the
best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration and
cannot be sufficiently extolled; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Florence Lazaroff has given not only of her time and
energies but also of her competence, intelligence and leadership and
consequently has been designated for special honor; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to commend Dr. Florence
Lazaroff upon the occasion of her designation for special recognition by
the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT honoring the 2015 Professional Women and
Women in Business; and
WHEREAS, Originally from Bulgaria, Florence Lazaroff attended a French
high school; in 1994, she graduated from Pediatric Medical School in St.
Petersburg, Russia; and
WHEREAS, Today, Dr. Florence Lazaroff is a Board-Certified Pediatri-
cian and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Florence Lazaroff began her 27 year medical career prac-
ticing medicine abroad; in September of 2008, she joined Crystal Run
Healthcare where she serves her young patients with compassion and care;
and
WHEREAS, Dr. Florence Lazaroff also leads the prenatal and parenting
classes at Crystal Run Healthcare's Rock Hill location; and
WHEREAS, Proud of her Bulgarian heritage, Dr. Florence Lazaroff is a
vital member of the Bulgarian Women's Society in Middletown, New York;
in this role, she enjoys organizing and hosting their International
Women's Day Celebration on March 8th of every year; and
WHEREAS, When she is not working, Dr. Florence Lazaroff likes to toil
in her garden, and watch the ballet and visit museums with her daughter;
and
WHEREAS, With her throughout has been her daughter, who feels privi-
leged to be a part of her life and rejoices in her achievements; and
WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an individ-
ual for the benefit of others which Dr. Florence Lazaroff has displayed
throughout her life; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Dr. Florence Lazaroff upon the occasion of her designation for
special recognition by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT honoring the 2015
Professional Women and Women in Business; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Dr. Florence Lazaroff.
