LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Anthony Bruno upon the occasion of his
designation for special recognition by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT 2016
Men at Work Edition

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve the
best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration and
cannot be sufficiently extolled; and
WHEREAS, Anthony Bruno has given not only of his time and energies but
also of his competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently has
been designated for special recognition; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Anthony Bruno
upon the occasion of his designation for special recognition by the
SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT 2016 Men at Work Edition; and
WHEREAS, An esteemed resident of Middletown, New York, Anthony Bruno
graduated from Goshen High School; after graduating, he earned his Bach-
elor's degree in Business from the State University of New York (SUNY)
at New Paltz; and
WHEREAS, Anthony Bruno furthered his education by obtaining his
Master's degree in Business Administration from Mount St. Mary College,
Newburgh, New York; and
WHEREAS, Twelve years ago, Anthony Bruno began his distinguished
career with Monticello Casino & Raceway; through the years he rose
through the ranks holding numerous positions such as Auditor,
Marketing/Finance Manager, Director of Financial Analysis and Planning,
Director of Operations, Assistant General Manager, and the title he
holds today, General Manager; and
WHEREAS, In this capacity, Anthony Bruno strives to provide quality
service to his guests by creating an environment where the internal
customers, employees and vendors work together to achieve this common
goal; and
WHEREAS, When he is not working, Anthony Bruno enjoys fishing and
spending time with his young nephew; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of his professional and communi-
ty service, a period of constructive involvement, Anthony Bruno has
stood constant in dignity, good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Anthony Bruno upon the occasion of his designation for special
recognition by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT 2016 Men at Work Edition;
and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Anthony Bruno.
