LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring William Theyson upon the occasion of his
designation for special recognition by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT 2016
Men at Work Edition

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve the
best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration and
cannot be sufficiently extolled; and
WHEREAS, William Theyson has given not only of his time and energies
but also of his competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently
has been designated for special honor; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor William They-
son upon the occasion of his designation for special recognition by the
SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT 2016 Men at Work Edition; and
WHEREAS, An esteemed resident of Callicoon, New York, William "Wilber"
Theyson graduated from Delaware Valley High School where he studied in
the auto body program at the Sullivan County BOCES; and
WHEREAS, For the past 43 years, Wilber Theyson has been a vital part
of Roche's Garage, Inc., where he has served as an AutoBody Technician
responsible for repairing and refinishing vehicles; and
WHEREAS, Wilber Theyson has been called upon to contribute his time
and talents to countless civic and charitable endeavors and has always
given of himself unstintingly; he is a member and supporter of the
Knights of Columbus organization; and
WHEREAS, With him throughout have been his wife, Debbie, and their two
daughters Heather (Parsa) and Kristen, all of whom feel privileged to be
a part of his life and rejoice in his achievements; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of his professional and communi-
ty service, a period of constructive involvement, Wilber Theyson has
stood constant in dignity, good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor William Theyson upon the occasion of his designation for special
recognition by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT 2016 Men at Work Edition;
and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to William Theyson.
