LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Arnold Ackerley III upon the occasion of
his designation for special recognition by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT
2016 Men at Work Edition

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve the
best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration and
cannot be sufficiently extolled; and
WHEREAS, Arnold Ackerley III has given not only of his time and ener-
gies but also of his competence, intelligence and leadership and conse-
quently has been designated for special recognition; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Arnold Acker-
ley III upon the occasion of his designation for special recognition by
the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT 2016 Men at Work Edition; and
WHEREAS, An esteemed resident of Neversink, New York, Arnold Ackerley
III graduated from Fallsburg High School before earning his bachelor's
degree from Marist College; and
WHEREAS, Director of Admissions and Development at New Hope Community,
Inc., Arnold Ackerley III is responsible for the admissions process, as
well as for the development of new homes for individuals with disabili-
ties; and
WHEREAS, In this capacity, Arnold Ackerley III locates suitable prop-
erties, secures the funding purchase, and works directly with archi-
tects, general contractors and decorators to deliver a beautiful home
for people in need of residential services; and
WHEREAS, Furthermore, this esteemed man supervises a dedicated team of
advocates, working diligently on behalf of the people who live at New
Hope Community; and
WHEREAS, With him throughout have been his wife, Theresa, and their
two children, Joshua and Marie, all of whom feel privileged to be a part
of his life and rejoice in his achievements; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of his professional and communi-
ty service, a period of constructive involvement, Arnold Ackerley III
has stood constant in dignity, good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberation to
honor Arnold Ackerley III upon the occasion of his designation for
special recognition by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT 2016 Men at Work
Edition; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Arnold Ackerley III.
