LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring John E. Armbrust upon the occasion of
his designation for special recognition by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT
2016 Men at Work Edition

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve the
best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration and
cannot be sufficiently extolled; and
WHEREAS, John E. Armbrust has given not only of his time and energies
but also of his competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently
has been designated for special recognition; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor John E.
Armbrust upon the occasion of his designation for special recognition by
the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT 2016 Men at Work Edition; and
WHEREAS, An esteemed resident of Kenoza Lake, New York, John E.
Armbrust graduated from Jeffersonville-Youngsville Central School in
1977; and
WHEREAS, John E. Armbrust is an Operating Engineer Local 825 and Load
Operator for Callanan Industries/Sullivan Materials in Bridgeville, New
York; he has 35 years of experience operating heavy equipment; and
WHEREAS, Truly committed to the well-being of his community, John E.
Armbrust is President and past Chief of the Kenoza Lake Fire Department;
and
WHEREAS, With him throughout have been his high school sweetheart and
wife of 29 years, Kathy, his daughter and son-in-law, his son and
daughter-in-law, and his grandson, all of whom feel privileged to be a
part of his life and rejoice in his achievements; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of his professional and communi-
ty service, a period of constructive involvement, John E. Armbrust has
stood constant in dignity, good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations honor-
ing John E. Armbrust upon the occasion of his designation for special
recognition by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT 2016 Men at Work Edition;
and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to John E. Armbrust.
