LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring DeWayne Haygood upon the occasion of his
designation for special recognition by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT 2016
Men at Work Edition

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve the
best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration and
cannot be sufficiently extolled; and
WHEREAS, DeWayne Haygood has given not only of his time and energies
but also of his competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently
has been designated for special recognition; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor DeWayne
Haygood upon the occasion of his designation for special recognition by
the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT 2016 Men at Work Edition; and
WHEREAS, DeWayne Haygood is the Vice President and Commercial Loan
Officer at Jeff Bank where he is acutely focused on customer guidance
and advocacy as part of the process of helping his clients reach their
financial and entrepreneurial goals; and
WHEREAS, A seasoned financial professional, DeWayne Haygood has many
years of experience working in commercial lending within the financial
industry throughout the Mid-Hudson Valley; he has served as a Budget
Analyst and Financial Manager during his service with the United States
Air Force; and
WHEREAS, DeWayne Haygood received his BS in Management from the
University of Maryland and will be graduating with his MBA in 2017; and
WHEREAS, Active within his community, DeWayne Haygood is a Community
Impact Committee Member for the United Way of Dutchess-Orange Region, as
well as Director and Treasurer of the Pike County Chamber of Commerce;
and
WHEREAS, In addition, he volunteers with Orange County Big Brothers-
Big Sisters and is a Fellow at Hudson Valley Pattern for Progress; and
WHEREAS, With him throughout have been his wife, Rachel, and their
daughter, Emily, both of whom feel privileged to be a part of his life
and rejoice in his achievements; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of his professional and communi-
ty service, a period of constructive involvement, DeWayne Haygood has
stood constant in dignity, good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberation to
honor DeWayne Haygood upon the occasion of his designation for special
recognition by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT 2016 Men at Work Edition;
and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to DeWayne Haygood.
