LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Andrew M. Coli upon the occasion of his
designation as the 2015-2016 CYO Member of the Year by the CYO-Troy
Youth Association, Inc.

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and pay
tribute to those young people within the great Empire State who have
made strong contributions to their communities and who serve as role
models for their peers; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Andrew M. Coli upon the occasion of his designation as the 2015-2016 CYO
Member of the Year by the CYO-Troy Youth Association, Inc., to be
observed at its 12th Annual William J. Pascarell Person of the Year
Celebration on Thursday, June 9, 2016, at the Italian Community Center,
Troy, New York; and
WHEREAS, Andrew M. Coli, in achieving this honor, may take just pride
in the inspiration and contribution to the spirit of excellence he
brings to his family, friends, community and school; and
WHEREAS, A Senior at Middleburgh High School, Andrew M. Coli is on the
school's baseball team and, since the third grade, has been a CYO Center
member where he volunteers with the Challenger program; and
WHEREAS, As Andrew M. Coli takes his leave of Middleburgh High School,
he bequeaths a legacy of achievement, school involvement and community
service to which others may aspire; and
WHEREAS, A young man of singular distinction, Andrew M. Coli has
distinguished himself as a young man of superlative ability, establish-
ing a high standard of excellence and purposefulness of life rarely
achieved in youthful years; and
WHEREAS, With his sense of civic duty and his commitment to others,
Andrew M. Coli represents the best development of the potential which is
inherent in our most precious resource, our youth; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Andrew M. Coli upon the occasion of his designation as the
2015-2016 CYO Member of the Year by the CYO-Troy Youth Association,
Inc.; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Andrew M. Coli.
