LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Katherine Elaine Dallemagne upon the
occasion of receiving the distinguished Gold Standard Certification by
the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards
WHEREAS, New York State's commitment to education is unparalleled; its
history and stature are secured by the superlative caliber of its educa-
tional professionals and the students they inspire; and
WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to acknowledge the
significant achievements in the distinguished careers of those outstand-
ing educational leaders, whose dedication and accomplishments have been
instrumental in developing character and academic excellence in the
young people of New York State; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Katherine Elaine Dallemagne upon the occasion of receiving the distin-
guished Gold Standard Certification by the National Board for Profes-
sional Teaching Standards; and
WHEREAS, Katherine Elaine Dallemagne was recognized for this auspi-
cious honor at an Awards Ceremony in January of 2015, during a Teacher's
Conference in Syracuse, New York; and
WHEREAS, Katherine Elaine Dallemagne is a Mathematics Teacher at
Hoosick Falls Central School District, Hoosick Falls, New York; her
students range from adolescents through young adults; and
WHEREAS, Gold Standard Certification is awarded to teachers who volun-
tarily have their teaching methods evaluated through a series of perfor-
mance-based assessments, including teaching portfolios, student work
examples, and student learning; and
WHEREAS, Educators like Katherine Elaine Dallemagne provide a tremen-
dous service to the future of our State and Nation, inspiring gener-
ations of young people in their educational journeys and ensuring
success in their future years; and
WHEREAS, Katherine Elaine Dallemagne has clearly had an enduring
impact on the youth of the Hoosick Falls Central School District, as
well as on the community-at-large, and accordingly merits recognition
and applause for her impressive dedication to her students; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to commend the
efforts of those individuals such as Katherine Elaine Dallemagne who
work to support our proud tradition of public education by providing
skills and talents to our schools; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Katherine Elaine Dallemagne upon the occasion of receiving the
distinguished Gold Standard Certification by the National Board for
Professional Teaching Standards, and for her significant contributions
to education in New York State; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Katherine Elaine Dallemagne.
