LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Creature Comforts Pet Resort upon the
occasion of its designation as recipient of the 2014 Small Business of
the Year Award by the Evans-Brant Chamber of Commerce

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize those
small businesses within the State of New York which contribute to the
economic health and vitality of the communities they serve; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Creature Comforts Pet Resort upon the occasion of its designation as
recipient of the 2014 Small Business of the Year Award by the Evans-
Brant Chamber of Commerce to be celebrated at its Annual President's
Award and Recognition Dinner on Saturday, March 21, 2015, at the Pioneer
Camp and Retreat Center in Angola, New York; and
WHEREAS, Each year, the Evans-Brant Chamber of Commerce recognizes
outstanding individuals and businesses that have made extraordinary
contributions to both the Chamber and the community over the past year;
Creature Comforts Pet Resort is one such business; and
WHEREAS, Small business owners exemplify the entrepreneurial spirit
which has fueled our State and Nation since their founding; and
WHEREAS, Events which honor small businesses help to enhance the free
enterprise system upon which our Nation was built; and
WHEREAS, It is the practice of this Legislative Body that when small
businesses of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our
attention, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens
of this great Empire State; and
WHEREAS, Small businesses such as Creature Comforts Pet Resort exert a
strong, positive influence on the communities they serve and are a
crucial element in the economy of New York State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Creature Comforts Pet Resort upon the occasion of its designation
as recipient of the 2014 Small Business of the Year Award by the Evans-
Brant Chamber of Commerce, fully confident that it will continue to
enjoy the sparkling successes it has experienced thus far; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Creature Comforts Pet Resort.
