LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Jeffery L. Murray upon the occasion of
his designation for special recognition by Murray Roofing Company Inc.
on April 29, 2016

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize that the
quality and character of life in the communities across New York State
are reflective of the concerned and dedicated efforts of those organiza-
tions and individuals who would devote themselves to the welfare of the
community and its citizenry; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Jeffery L. Murray upon the occasion of his designation for special
recognition by Murray Roofing Company Inc., to be celebrated at its 40th
Anniversary Luncheon on Friday, April 29, 2016, at Creekside Banquet
Facility, Cheektowaga, New York; and
WHEREAS, Under the luminous direction of President and Owner Jeffery
L. Murray, Murray Roofing Company Inc. has steadily grown to become
one of Western New York's largest commercial roofers; and
WHEREAS, Real estate developers and general contractors know they can
always depend on Murray Roofing Company Inc. to provide quality materi-
als and installation; and
WHEREAS, Furthermore, this vital company has proudly contributed to
the rebirth of downtown Buffalo, and the reincarnation of once dilapi-
dated warehouses into refurbished apartments, offices, hotels and
restaurants; and
WHEREAS, With a steadfast and unwavering commitment to the community,
Jeffery L. Murray gives of his time and energy to such organizations as
Catholic Charities, Cheektowaga Police Benevolent Association, Cheekto-
waga Softball Association, St. Luke's Mission of Mercy, the Depew-Lan-
caster Boys & Girls Club, Villa Maria College, Hilbert College, Immacu-
lata Academy, St. Francis High School, St. John Paul II parish, and
Mercy Hospital; and
WHEREAS, In addition, he supports countless local teams, high school
musical programs, and charitable golf outings; and
WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an individ-
ual for the benefit of others which Jeffery L. Murray has displayed
throughout his life; and
WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body that when individ-
uals of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our atten-
tion, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens of
this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Jeffery L. Murray upon the occasion of his designation for special
recognition by Murray Roofing Company Inc. on April 29, 2016; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Jeffery L. Murray.
