LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Tommy Tedesco upon the occasion of his
induction into the Niagara Falls USBC Bowling Association Hall of Fame
Class of 2014

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to pay tribute to
those exemplary athletes who excel in professional athletics, distin-
guishing themselves through notable achievements and representing the
great Empire State with pride and determination; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Tommy Tedesco upon the occasion of his induction into the Niagara Falls
USBC Bowling Association Hall of Fame Class of 2014; and
WHEREAS, Tommy Tedesco was a member of the Niagara County Community
College Men's Bowling Team, and also played for the University of
Buffalo Men's Bowling Team from 1989 until 1990; and
WHEREAS, A vital part of the Niagara Falls Bowling Association (NFBA)
for the past 27 years, Tommy Tedesco served as Director of the organiza-
tion for three consecutive years and as the third Vice President on the
NFBA Board from 2004 until 2005; and
WHEREAS, This esteemed man has won several league awards, as well as
numerous bowling tournaments including the Beverly Lanes Crown of the
Hill and the Lou Marcantino Invitational; he also possesses two PBA
regional cashes and has competed in two USBC Masters tournaments;
furthermore, his highest average is 234, with a high triple of 853 and
13 perfect 300 games; and
WHEREAS, A gifted athlete and exemplary leader, Tommy Tedesco has
become a role model in professional bowling; his character and achieve-
ments stand as a sterling example and inspiration to all who would
aspire to success; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when individ-
uals of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our atten-
tion, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens of
this great Empire State; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Tommy Tedesco upon the occasion of his induction into the Niagara
Falls USBC Bowling Association Hall of Fame Class of 2014; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Tommy Tedesco.
