COMMENDING Teddy's Restaurant upon the occasion of
celebrating its 25th Anniversary

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize the
achievements of those individuals and businesses which substantially
contribute to the economic vitality of their communities and the entire
Empire State; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commend Teddy's Restaurant upon the occasion of its 25th Anniversary to
be celebrated at its Business After Hours Reception on Monday, July 25,
2016; in addition, the owners will pay special recognition to Charles
Sprock, Carol Manuele, Barb Chilluffo, Lori Kaplan Felice and Charles
Kaplan for helping them "get their start"; and

WHEREAS, Owned by Brian Miller, Carlos Moran and Lori Bruno, Teddy's
Restaurant has provided fresh, quality, tasty food in a clean and
pleasant atmosphere for the past 25 years; this popular restaurant is
renowned for its collection of stuffed teddy bears which adorn and
decorate the interior of the dining room; and

WHEREAS, The owners of Teddy's Restaurant remain true to their
guiding principles by providing a great work environment where everyone
treats each other with respect and dignity; embracing diversity as an
essential component in the way they do business; applying the highest
standards of excellence by selecting and purchasing all ingredients to
ensure fresh, tasty, quality food; developing enthusiastically satisfied
customers all the time by being proud of good food, good people and good
values; and contributing positively to the communities and the
environment and recognizing the importance of them; and

WHEREAS, The success of Teddy's Restaurant is in direct correlation
to the efforts of its dedicated staff, whose involvement is, and always
has been, characterized by an impressive commitment, an unbridled
enthusiasm, and an uncompromising standard of excellence in all
endeavors on behalf of the business and the community it serves; and

WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body
acknowledges this exceptional business and its contributions to the
local and State economies, fully confident that it will continue to
enjoy the sparkling successes it has experienced thus far; now,
therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Teddy's Restaurant upon the occasion of celebrating its 25th
Anniversary; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Teddy's Restaurant, Rome, New York.
