COMMENDING Ken Stabb upon the occasion of his
retirement after 27 years of distinguished service
to the Boonville Municipal Commission on March 4,
2017
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body seeks to acknowledge those
individuals whose professional lives and civic endeavors serve to
enhance the stature of the State of New York; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commending Ken Stabb upon the occasion of his retirement after 27 years
of distinguished service to the Boonville Municipal Commission,
celebrated at a party held in his honor on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at
The Beeches in Rome, New York; and
WHEREAS, A true public servant, Ken Stabb will stay on for some time
to assist the incoming Superintendent; and
WHEREAS, In his much deserved retirement, Ken Stabb plans on
checking some items off of his bucket list; and
WHEREAS, For the past 27 years, Ken Stabb rendered faithful,
conscientious and valuable service to the Boonville Municipal
Commission; and
WHEREAS, In his capacity as Superintendent, Ken Stabb served with
loyalty, honor and distinction; and
WHEREAS, In his official acts, Ken Stabb was governed by a keen
sense of duty and always showed a unique grasp of human problems; and
WHEREAS, During his tenure with the Boonville Municipal Commission,
Ken Stabb earned the admiration, esteem and affection of his colleagues;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Ken Stabb upon the occasion of his retirement after 27 years of
distinguished service to the Boonville Municipal Commission, and to wish
him continued success in all his future endeavors; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Ken Stabb.
