HONORING Alan Coombe upon the occasion of his
designation as recipient of a Young Professionals
Award by the Sullivan County Democrat
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
pay tribute to those young adults within the great Empire State who have
made strong contributions to their communities and who serve as role
models for their peers; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Alan Coombe upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of a Young
Professionals Award by the Sullivan County Democrat; and
WHEREAS, Alan Coombe was selected for this esteemed honor in
recognition of his hard work, ambition, and creativity, as well as for
his profound impact in and around the community of Sullivan County; and
WHEREAS, The son of Margaret and Phil Coombe III, Alan Coombe grew
up in Grahamsville, New York; he received a Bachelors of Science degree
in 2009, from Cornell University and ultimately settled in Ellenville;
and
WHEREAS, Furthermore, he went on to earn a series 7, 63, and 55
license with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority; and
WHEREAS, Alan Coombe works as a Financial Representative, Trader and
Manager for Coombe, Bender & Company in Warwarsing, New York, as well as
the branch office in Monticello; prior to this esteemed position, he
served as a Sales Trader for Dahlman, Rose & Company from 2009 to 2011;
and
WHEREAS, In addition to his full-time job, Alan Coombe is the owner
of Jace's Toy Chest, LLC, which manufactures a personal counting device
for gaming; and
WHEREAS, A true asset to his community, Alan Coombe is a member of
Ellenville's Noonday and Garden Club, as well as the Ellenville Regional
Hospital Gala Committee; and
WHEREAS, With him throughout have been his wife, Beata, his
step-daughter, Aliz, and his daughter, Aurelia, all of whom feel
privileged to be a part of his life and rejoice in his achievements; and
WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their community and have shown a
long and sustained commitment to excellence certainly have earned the
recognition and applause of all the citizens of this great Empire State;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Alan Coombe upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of a
Young Professionals Award by the Sullivan County Democrat; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Alan Coombe.
