HONORING Kelly Mullally upon the occasion of her
designation as recipient of a Young Professionals
Award by the Sullivan County Democrat

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
pay tribute to those young adults within the great Empire State who have
made strong contributions to their communities and who serve as role
models for their peers; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Kelly Mullally upon the occasion of her designation as recipient of a
Young Professionals Award by the Sullivan County Democrat; and

WHEREAS, Kelly Mullally was selected for this esteemed honor in
recognition of her hard work, ambition, and creativity, as well as for
her profound impact in and around the community of Sullivan County; and

WHEREAS, A Jeffersonville native, Kelly Mullally graduated from
Sullivan West Central School's Jeffersonville-Youngsville campus in
2003; following high school, she attended SUNY Purchase College; she
studied abroad at the University of Limerick in Ireland and the Escuela
de Espanol in Spain before returning to Purchase where she earned her
degree in history in 2007; and

WHEREAS, Kelly Mullally has served as the Sales Manager for Villa
Roma Group since 2010, prior to which she was the administrator of group
sales; and

WHEREAS, Like most youth in the area, Kelly Mullally spent her
teenage years working at the Villa Roma Resort and Conference Center in
the rental room of the ski chalet during the winter, and as a waitress
in the main dining room during the summer; and

WHEREAS, As Group Sales Manager, Kelly Mullally is responsible for
booking group businesses into the hotel section of the Villa Roma, as
well as coordinating all details of their stay; and

WHEREAS, With a steadfast and unwavering dedication to her
community, Kelly Mullally has given of her time and energies to
countless local organizations from girl scout troops to motorcoach
groups, associations, corporate outings, conferences, unions, class
trips, reunions, fraternal groups, and more; and

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their community and have shown a
long and sustained commitment to excellence certainly have earned the
recognition and applause of all the citizens of this great Empire State;
now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Kelly Mullally upon the occasion of her designation as recipient

of a Young Professionals Award by the Sullivan County Democrat; and be
it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Kelly Mullally.
