COMMEMORATING the 30th Anniversary of Riehle
Opticians on March 21, 2017

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
commend the achievements of individuals and businesses which contribute
substantially to the economic health and vitality of the communities of
the State of New York, and to their quality of life; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commemorate the 30th Anniversary of Riehle Opticians; this momentous
occasion was celebrated on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, in Warwick, New
York; and

WHEREAS, Although Riehle Opticians, located on Main Street,
celebrated the grand opening of its new location in 2015, its story
actually began when Anthony Riehle started his optical career at his
family's DJ Riehle Opticians, Inc., in Middletown; and

WHEREAS, In 1987, Anthony Riehle opened Riehle Opticians on Ronald
Reagan Boulevard in the Town of Warwick; and

WHEREAS, Riehle Opticians offers a broad range of eyewear products
to fit all budgets, and the company is known for its expert eye
makeovers and clientele from across the entire tri-state area and
beyond; and

WHEREAS, Shortly before moving to its new location in the Village of
Warwick, Luxury Optical Holdings (LOH), headquartered in Las Vegas,
welcomed Riehle Opticians into its portfolio of 62 luxury optical
stores; and

WHEREAS, Businesses and their owners, such as Anthony Riehle, exert
a strong, positive influence on the communities they serve and are an
essential component to the economies and communities of the State of New
York; and

WHEREAS, Over its distinguished 30 year history, Riehle Opticians
has demonstrated continuous service to the residents and communities
which it serves; and

WHEREAS, The success of Riehle Opticians is in direct correlation to
the efforts of its staff, whose involvement is, and always has been,
characterized by an impressive commitment, an unbridled enthusiasm, and
an uncompromising standard of excellence in all endeavors on behalf of
the business and the community it serves; and

WHEREAS, This auspicious occasion presents an opportunity for this
Legislative Body to recognize and pay tribute to Riehle Opticians; and

WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body
acknowledges this exceptional business and its contributions to the
local and State economies, fully confident that it will continue to

enjoy the sparkling successes it has experienced thus far; now,
therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the 30th Anniversary of Riehle Opticians, and to applaud
Anthony Riehle for his outstanding service and commitment to his clients
and his community; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Anthony Riehle, Riehle Opticians, Warwick, New York.
