COMMENDING Will Fowler, Jr. upon the occasion of
his retirement after 30 years of distinguished
service to Erie County on June 23, 2017

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body seeks to acknowledge those
individuals whose professional lives and civic endeavors serve to
enhance the stature of the State of New York; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commend Will Fowler, Jr. upon the occasion of his retirement after 30
years of distinguished service to Erie County to be celebrated at a
party held in his honor on Friday, June 23, 2017, at the Ceremonial
Courtroom in Buffalo, New York; and

WHEREAS, For the past 30 years, Will Fowler, Jr. rendered faithful,
conscientious and valuable service to Erie County; and

WHEREAS, In his capacity as Pistol Permit Supervisor, Will Fowler,
Jr. served with loyalty, honor and distinction; and

WHEREAS, In his official acts, Will Fowler, Jr. was governed by a
keen sense of duty and always showed a unique grasp of human problems;
and

WHEREAS, During his tenure with Erie County, Will Fowler, Jr. earned
the admiration, esteem and affection of his colleagues; now, therefore,
be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Will Fowler, Jr. upon the occasion of his retirement after 30
years of distinguished service to Erie County, and to wish him continued
success in all his future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Will Fowler, Jr.
