COMMENDING Lianne Pinchuk upon the occasion of her
designation for special recognition by the United
Tenants of Albany

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize that
the quality and character of life in the communities across New York
State are reflective of the concerned and dedicated efforts of those
organizations and individuals who would devote themselves to the welfare
of the community and its citizenry; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commend Lianne Pinchuk upon the occasion of her designation for special
recognition by the United Tenants of Albany, to be celebrated at its
44th Annual Meeting on Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at the Westminster
Presbyterian Church in Albany, New York; and

WHEREAS, A graduate of Columbia University School of Law, Lianne
Pinchuk started her esteemed career in law as a litigation associate at
Weil, Gotshal and Manges in New York, New York; in this capacity, she
worked in the products liability and mass torts practice group and the
food law sub-group; and

WHEREAS, Lianne Pinchuk then served as counsel to Ganz Wolkenbriet
and Siegfeld LLP in Albany, where she participated in all aspects of
commercial litigation including real estate disputes, bankruptcy claims,
employment disputes, tax claims, breaches of contract and other
commercial conflicts; and

WHEREAS, After working in the private law sector, Lianne Pinchuk was
a staff attorney for the Albany County Bar Association before serving as
Albany Law School's Interim Pro Bono Coordinator; and

WHEREAS, Dedicated to her occupation, Lianne Pinchuk is a member of
numerous organizations including the New York State Bar Association and
the Capital District Women's Bar Association; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Lianne Pinchuk upon the occasion of her designation for special
recognition by the United Tenants of Albany; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Lianne Pinchuk.
