HONORING Andy Donovan upon the occasion of his
designation as recipient of the David I. Levy
Communicator of the Year Award by AAF Buffalo

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body that individuals
who distinguish themselves in their profession, dedicating themselves to
its enhancement and leading it in new directions, are an asset beyond
remuneration and cannot be sufficiently extolled; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Andy Donovan upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of the
David I. Levy Communicator of the Year Award by AAF Buffalo; and

WHEREAS, Each year, AAF Buffalo recognizes deserving individuals and
departments who have made an impact on Western New York's advertising
community through a handful of special awards; these awards are given
out in conjunction with the American Advertising Awards; and

WHEREAS, The Advertising Club of Buffalo supports and connects
communications professionals in Western New York; it strives to bridge
the gaps between passions, occupations and experience levels to create a
single unified community that provides national industry involvement
with a local focus; and

WHEREAS, The David I. Levy Communicator of the Year Award was
created to recognize outstanding achievement and service in the
communications industry; the recipients have a distinguished record of
achievement over an extended period of time; and

WHEREAS, Andy Donovan, of dPost, was honored with the David I. Levy
Communication of the Year Award for his contribution to his company, the
industry and the community; and

WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an
individual for the benefit of others which Andy Donovan has displayed
throughout his career and life; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Andy Donovan upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of
the David I. Levy Communicator of the Year Award; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Andy Donovan.
