HONORING Charlie Riley upon the occasion of his
designation as recipient of the Joe Crowley Award
for Service by AAF Buffalo

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that individuals
who distinguish themselves in their profession, dedicating themselves to
its enhancement and leading it in new directions, are an asset beyond
remuneration and cannot be sufficiently extolled; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Charlie Riley upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of the
Joe Crowley Award for Service by AAF Buffalo; and

WHEREAS, Each year, AAF Buffalo recognizes deserving individuals and
departments who have made an impact on Western New York's advertising
community through a handful of special awards; these awards are given
out in conjunction with the American Advertising Awards; and

WHEREAS, AAF Buffalo supports and connects communications
professionals in Western New York; it strives to bridge the gaps between
passions, occupations and experience levels to create a single unified
community that provides national industry involvement with a local
focus; and

WHEREAS, The Joe Crowley Award recognizes hard work as well as
outstanding achievement in furthering the activities and interests of
the club; and

WHEREAS, Charlie Riley was honored with the Joe Crowley Award for
Service for his dedication, commitment and service to the club which
went above and beyond the call of duty; and

WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an
individual for the benefit of others which Charlie Riley has displayed
throughout his career and life; and

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Charlie Riley upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of
the Joe Crowley Award for Service by AAF Buffalo; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Charlie Riley.
