COMMENDING Tanya Hahn upon the occasion of her
designation for special recognition by the 2017
Sullivan County Democrat honoring Professional Women
and Women in Business

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve
the best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration
and cannot be sufficiently extolled; and

WHEREAS, Tanya Hahn has given not only of her time and energies but
also of her competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently has
been designated for special honor; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to commend Tanya Hahn
upon the occasion of her designation for special recognition by the 2017
Sullivan County Democrat honoring Professional Women and Women in
Business; and

WHEREAS, As Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer at
Jeff Bank, Tanya Hahn manages the total loan portfolio as well as the
entire lending function; in addition, she serves as the bank's Community
Reinvestment Act (CRA) Officer; and

WHEREAS, Tanya Hahn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management
from the University of Scranton; and

WHEREAS, A true asset to her community, Tanya Hahn serves as
Treasurer for both the Sullivan County Visitor's Association and REAP
Board, and as a member of the Sullivan County Ag Revolving Loan Fund
Committee; and

WHEREAS, With her throughout have been her husband, Andy, and their
two children, Michael and Chris, who have all shown her love and support
and rejoice in her many achievements; and

WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an
individual for the benefit of others which Tanya Hahn has displayed
throughout her life; and

WHEREAS, It has always been the objective of this Legislative Body
to honor and support those individuals who have displayed their
commitment to the betterment of their communities, and it is the intent
of this Legislative Body to inscribe upon its records, this tribute to
Tanya Hahn, that future generations may know and appreciate her
admirable character, her many benevolent deeds, and the respect and
esteem in which she is held by her peers; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Tanya Hahn upon the occasion of her designation for special
recognition by the 2017 Sullivan County Democrat honoring Professional
Women and Women in Business; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Tanya Hahn.
