HONORING Cottrill's Specialty Pharmacy upon the
occasion of its designation as recipient of the
December Business Community Beautification Award by
the Orchard Park Chamber of Commerce

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to honor those
businesses within the State of New York which distinguish themselves
through outstanding professional behavior, and enduring commitment to
their community; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Cottrill's Specialty Pharmacy upon the occasion of its designation as
recipient of the December Business Community Beautification Award by the
Orchard Park Chamber of Commerce; and

WHEREAS, Cottrill's Specialty Pharmacy is receiving this prestigious
award for its significant commitment to the Orchard Park community; and

WHEREAS, In 2013, Dave Obrochta bought property located at 4919
Ellicott Road in Orchard Park; three years later, he tore down the
original buildings and built a modern office building and
state-of-the-art pharmacy which has made that section of the street more
beautiful and appealing for the residents of Orchard Park; and

WHEREAS, Today, the attractive building which houses Cottrill's
Specialty Pharmacy is licensed to sell compounded medications for both
people and pets, home infusion and specialty medications; and

WHEREAS, Specialty pharmacies such as Cottrill's provide medications
and services to people who need complex or customized medications and to
people with serious health conditions including bleeding disorders,
immune deficiencies, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, rheumatoid
arthritis, and multiple sclerosis; the Pharmacy employs registered
nurses who can infuse these special medications at the patient's home;
and

WHEREAS, Small businesses such as Cottrill's Specialty Pharmacy
exert a strong, positive influence on the communities they serve and are
a crucial element in the economy of New York State; and

WHEREAS, Since its inception, Cottrill's Specialty Pharmacy has
demonstrated continuous service to the residents and communities which
it serves; and

WHEREAS, The success of Cottrill's Specialty Pharmacy is in direct
correlation to the efforts of its staff, whose involvement is, and
always has been characterized by an impressive commitment, an unbridled
enthusiasm, and an uncompromised standard of excellence in all endeavors
on behalf of the business and the community it serves; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those
businesses who enhance the well-being and vitality of their community

and have shown a long and sustained commitment to excellence certainly
have earned the recognition and applause of all the citizens of this
great Empire State; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Cottrill's Specialty Pharmacy upon the occasion of its designation
as recipient of the December Business Community Beautification Award by
the Orchard Park Chamber of Commerce; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Dave Obrochta, Owner, Cottrill's Specialty Pharmacy.
