COMMENDING Patricia Fallon upon the occasion of
her retirement after 28 distinguished years as an
educator with the Camden Central School District
WHEREAS, New York State's commitment to education is unparalleled;
its history and stature are secured by the superlative caliber of its
educational professionals and the students they inspire; and
WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to acknowledge
the significant milestones in the distinguished careers of those
outstanding educational leaders, whose dedication and achievements have
been instrumental in developing character and academic excellence in the
young people of New York State; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commend Patricia Fallon upon the occasion of her retirement after 28
distinguished years as an educator with the Camden Central School
District; and
WHEREAS, Patricia Fallon earned her Bachelor of Science degree in
Secondary English from SUNY Oswego; she furthered her education by
obtaining her Master's degree in Elementary Education from Russell Sage
College, and both her Master's degree and a Certificate of Advanced
Study in Educational Administration from SUNY Albany; and
WHEREAS, Throughout her distinguished education career, Patricia
Fallon has served in numerous capacities including pre-Kindergarten
Coordinator, Summer School Administrator, Gifted and Talented
Coordinator, and Principal of Annsville Elementary School, the position
from which she has officially retired; and
WHEREAS, Devoted to her profession, Patricia Fallon held the
position of President of Camden Administrator Association, and Chair of
Shared Decision Making Committee; she also enjoyed sharing her vast
knowledge and experience with other administrators and teachers; and
WHEREAS, For her steadfast and unremitting commitment to education,
Patricia Fallon was named the Madison-Oneida School Library
Administrator of the Year; and
WHEREAS, Educators like Patricia Fallon provide a tremendous service
to the future of our State and Nation, inspiring generations of young
people in their educational journeys and ensuring their success in their
future years; and
WHEREAS, Patricia Fallon has clearly had an enduring impact on the
youth of Camden Central School District, as well as on the
community-at-large, and accordingly merits recognition and applause for
her impressive dedication to others; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to commend the
efforts of those individuals who work to support our proud tradition of
public education by providing their skills and talents to our schools;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Patricia Fallon upon the occasion of her retirement after 28
distinguished years as an educator with the Camden Central School
District, and to wish her continued success in all of her future
endeavors; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Patricia Fallon.
