HONORING Susan Frisch upon the occasion of her
designation as recipient of the Distinguished
Faculty Award by the North Shore Hebrew Academy
WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve
the best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration
and cannot be sufficiently extolled; and
WHEREAS, Susan Frisch has given not only of her time and energies
but also of her competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently
has been designated for special honor; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Susan Frisch
upon the occasion of her designation as recipient of the Distinguished
Faculty Award by the North Shore Hebrew Academy, to be recognized at its
Annual Dinner Celebration on Sunday, March 11, 2018; and
WHEREAS, This auspicious occasion brings together more than 1,000
North Shore Hebrew Academy community members for a celebratory night of
fun with proceeds helping to provide its students with the best Judaic
and general education possible; and
WHEREAS, Susan Frisch has been called upon to contribute her time
and talents to countless civic and charitable endeavors and has always
given of herself unstintingly; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of her community service, a
period of constructive involvement, Susan Frisch has stood constant in
dignity, good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, The success of the North Shore Hebrew Academy is in direct
correlation to the efforts of individuals such as Susan Frisch, whose
involvement is, and always has been, characterized by an impressive
commitment, an unbridled enthusiasm, and an uncompromising standard of
excellence in all endeavors on behalf of the school and the community it
serves; and
WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an
individual for the benefit of others which Susan Frisch has displayed
throughout her life; and
WHEREAS, It has always been the objective of this Legislative Body
to honor and support those individuals who have displayed their
commitment to the betterment of their communities, and it is the intent
of this Legislative Body to inscribe upon its records, this tribute to
Susan Frisch, that future generations may know and appreciate her
admirable character, her many benevolent deeds, and the respect and
esteem in which she is held by her peers; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Susan Frisch upon the occasion of her designation as recipient of
the Distinguished Faculty Award by the North Shore Hebrew Academy; and
be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Susan Frisch.
