COMMENDING Christine Bunce upon the occasion of
her designation for special recognition by the 2016
Sullivan County Democrat honoring Professional Women
and Women in Business
WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve
the best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration
and cannot be sufficiently extolled; and
WHEREAS, Christine Bunce has given not only of her time and energies
but also of her competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently
has been designated for special honor; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to commend Christine
Bunce upon the occasion of her designation for special recognition by
the 2016 Sullivan County Democrat honoring Professional Women and Women
in Business; and
WHEREAS, A graduate of Monticello High School, Christine Bunce holds
a dual Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Photography and Communication and
Rhetorical Studies; she went on to earn a master's degree in Humanistic
Multicultural Education from SUNY New Paltz; and
WHEREAS, Christine Bunce is the Education and Outreach Manager of
Bethel Woods Center for the Arts where she develops, implements and
evaluates all mission-based programming serving all audience
demographics; and
WHEREAS, In addition, she develops and maintains community
relationships and partnerships to truly be a resource for and by the
community to best fulfill the mission of Bethel Woods and Sullivan
County; and
WHEREAS, Christine Bunce also serves as a yoga instructor at YogAsh
Yoga Studio in Monticello and LES MILLS Bodypump at Fitness Factory; and
WHEREAS, Active within her community, Christine Bunce gives
tirelessly of her time and energies to such organizations as Alzheimer's
Association; she is the Operations Advisor for Kappa Alpha Theta-Chi
Chapter, and a member of Leadership Sullivan Class of 2017; and
WHEREAS, With her throughout has been her fiance, Louie, who feels
privileged to be a part of her life and rejoices in her achievements;
and
WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an
individual for the benefit of others which Christine Bunce has displayed
throughout her life; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Christine Bunce upon the occasion of her designation for special
recognition by the 2016 Sullivan County Democrat honoring Professional
Women and Women in Business; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Christine Bunce.
