MOURNING the death of Victor Perillo,
distinguished citizen and devoted member of his
community
WHEREAS, It is with great sorrow and deep regret that this
Legislative Body records the passing of Victor Perillo, noting the
significance of his purposeful life and accomplishments; and
WHEREAS, Victor Perillo of Buffalo, New York, died on March 19,
2018, after a courageous battle against cancer; and
WHEREAS, This extraordinary man distinguished himself in his
profession and by his sincere dedication and substantial contribution to
the welfare of his community; and
WHEREAS, Victor Perillo's commitment to excellence, and his spirit
of humanity, carried over into all fields of enterprise, including
charitable and civic endeavors; and
WHEREAS, Victor Perillo is survived by his wife, Gail; two
daughters, Michelle and Andrea (Michael); sister, Sharon (Larry);
brothers-in-law, Charles "Skip" (Jacqueline) and Robert (Laurie); and
sister-in-law, Karen (Harry); as well as many loving nieces, nephews,
relatives and friends; and
WHEREAS, Armed with a humanistic spirit and imbued with a sense of
compassion, Victor Perillo leaves behind a legacy which will long endure
the passage of time and will remain as a comforting memory to all he
served and befriended; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
mourn the death of Victor Perillo, distinguished citizen and devoted
member of his community; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to the family of Victor Perillo.
