HONORING Ana Oliveira upon the occasion of her
designation for special recognition by Fontbonne
Hall Academy on April 21, 2018
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Ana Oliveira upon the occasion of her designation for special
recognition by Fontbonne Hall Academy, to be celebrated at its Diamonds
and Pearls 80th Anniversary Gala on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at the El
Caribe Country Club, Brooklyn, New York; and
WHEREAS, Ana Oliveira is a Senior Vice President, Market Executive
for Investors Bank, where she currently oversees 40 branches in the New
York market; and
WHEREAS, Prior to serving in this most esteemed position, Ana
Oliveira was the Regional Manager in the Retail Division at Millennium
Bcp Bank, and spent 10 years with Penn Federal Savings Bank as 1st Vice
President and Regional Manager in Northern New Jersey; and
WHEREAS, With a steadfast and unwavering dedication to her local
community, Ana Oliveira is an Executive Board member of the Brooklyn
Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Board of the Queens Theatre; and
WHEREAS, Ana Oliveira has been the proud recipient of numerous
awards and accolades including the City & State NY Corporate
Responsibility Award, the 2016 Business Woman of the Year Award, the
Brooklyn Business Cornerstones Award; in addition, she was recognized as
a Brooklyn Woman of Distinction; and
WHEREAS, Ana Oliveira graduated from East Side High School in
Newark, New Jersey, before earning her Bachelors of Arts degree in
English and Journalism from New Jersey City University; and
WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an
individual for the benefit of others which Ana Oliveira has displayed
throughout her life; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when
individuals of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our
attention, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens
of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Ana Oliveira upon the occasion of her designation for special
recognition by Fontbonne Hall Academy on April 21, 2018; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Ana Oliveira.
