HONORING Martin, Harding & Mazzotti upon the
occasion of its designation as recipient of The
Legal Project Champion Award on April 27, 2018

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to call attention
to the dedicated efforts of those legal professionals from across the
State of New York who volunteer their time and energies in service to
the community; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Martin, Harding & Mazzotti upon the occasion of its designation as
recipient of The Legal Project Champion Award, to be celebrated at its
Awards Luncheon on Friday, April 27, 2018, at The Century House, Latham,
New York; and

WHEREAS, Martin, Harding & Mazzotti was formed in 1994, and
currently has over 30 Attorneys and 80 team members with offices and
locations in New York and Vermont; and

WHEREAS, With the motto, "When given the choice, choose kindness,"
Martin, Harding & Mazzotti works tirelessly to make every client feel as
though they are part of their law firm family, striving to fully
understand their needs and exceed their expectations; and

WHEREAS, In addition to their commitment to their clients, Martin,
Harding & Mazzotti believes strongly in giving back to the communities
they serve; the firm's outreach programs have helped more than 1,000
young drivers take the next step towards being safe licensed drivers
with their free New York State required five hour driving course; and

WHEREAS, Furthermore, Martin, Harding & Mazzotti have provided
several thousand free cab rides home during the holidays, have helped
hundreds of animals to be adopted through local shelters around the
Capital Region, and provided several thousand free bike helmets to local
community children; and

WHEREAS, A true asset to society, each year, Martin, Harding &
Mazzotti donates and sponsors numerous local charities, organizations
and non-profits across New York and Vermont; and

WHEREAS, Over its distinguished 24-year history, Martin, Harding &
Mazzotti has demonstrated continuous service to the residents and
communities which it serves; and

WHEREAS, The success of Martin, Harding & Mazzotti is in direct
correlation to the efforts of its attorneys and team members, whose
involvement is, and always has been, characterized by an impressive
commitment, an unbridled enthusiasm, and an uncompromising standard of
excellence in all endeavors on behalf of the organization and the
community it serves; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when
individuals and law firms of such noble aims and accomplishments are
brought to our attention, they should be celebrated and recognized by
all the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Martin, Harding & Mazzotti upon the occasion of its designation as
recipient of The Legal Project Champion Award on April 27, 2018; and be
it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Martin, Harding & Mazzotti.
