HONORING Kevin B. Tully, CPA upon the occasion of
his designation as recipient of the Third Age
Achievement Award for Business by the Senior
Services of Albany

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Kevin B. Tully, CPA upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of
the Third Age Achievement Award for Business by the Senior Services of
Albany, to be celebrated at its 22nd Annual Awards Luncheon on Friday,
May 18, 2018, at Wolferts Roost Country Club, Albany, New York; and

WHEREAS, Each year, this auspicious event recognizes the
contributions that area residents and professionals have made in their
communities during the Third Age of their lives; Kevin B. Tully will
receive this award for his valuable achievements and devoted service to
his community after the age of 60; and

WHEREAS, Kevin B. Tully grew up on Long Island and graduated from
Siena College; he began his illustrious career teaching at St. Mary's in
Glens Falls, New York, from 1979 until 1982, when he joined Teal, Becker
& Chiaramonte; and

WHEREAS, As a tax shareholder, Kevin B. Tully is charged with
managing the Firm's tax department where he monitors changes resulting
from new tax legislation and guiding the staff in its implementation;
and

WHEREAS, After more than three decades in the field, Kevin B. Tully
has a wealth of accounting and tax experience; his responsibilities
include management advisory and tax services, as well as individual
income, estate and gift taxes; and

WHEREAS, Furthermore, his client base includes professional
organizations, retailers, wholesalers, distributors, manufacturers,
construction contractors, and real estate developers; and

WHEREAS, Kevin B. Tully is a member of the Board of Directors of the
Fast Break Fund, Inc. and Living Resources Corporation; he also serves
as Director of Chemung Canal Trust Company and Chemung Financial
Corporation; and

WHEREAS, In his spare time, Kevin B. Tully enjoys spending time with
his family, traveling internationally, walking tours, golfing, hiking
and snow-shoeing; and

WHEREAS, With him throughout have been his wife, and their four
children, as well as three grandchildren, who have all shown him love
and support and rejoice in his many achievements; and

WHEREAS, It has always been the objective of this Legislative Body
to honor and support those individuals who have displayed their
commitment to the betterment of their communities, and it is the intent
of this Legislative Body to inscribe upon its records, this tribute to
Kevin B. Tully, that future generations may know and appreciate his
admirable character, his many benevolent deeds, and the respect and
esteem in which he is held by his peers; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Kevin B. Tully upon the occasion of his designation as recipient
of the Third Age Achievement Award for Business by the Senior Services
of Albany; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Kevin B. Tully.
