HONORING Amy Davidoff upon the occasion of her
designation as recipient of a Young Professionals
Award by the Sullivan County Democrat

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
pay tribute to those young adults within the great Empire State who have
made strong contributions to their communities and who serve as role
models for their peers; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Amy Davidoff upon the occasion of her designation as recipient of a
Young Professionals Award by the Sullivan County Democrat; and

WHEREAS, Amy Davidoff was selected for this esteemed honor in
recognition of her hard work, ambition, and creativity, as well as for
her profound impact in and around the community of Sullivan County; and

WHEREAS, Born in Middletown, New York, and raised in Rock Hill, New
York, Amy Davidoff was a student at Monticello High School; after
graduating, she studied public policy at Cornell University; and

WHEREAS, Amy Davidoff then moved to New York City where she attended
law school; she began her law career handling litigation cases for
several firms; and

WHEREAS, After spending time in New York City, Amy Davidoff decided
to return to her roots and give back to the community in which she grew
up in; for the last four years, she has held the title of both Director
of Enterprise Risk Management and Assistant General Counsel for the
Greater Hudson Valley Health System; and

WHEREAS, In this capacity, Amy Davidoff handles and oversees the
insurance policies of the hospital and diligently works to reduce its
negative exposure by properly educating the health system employees; and

WHEREAS, Amy Davidoff is forever grateful for the support she has
received from her loving family and her coworkers, who allow her to not
only take care of the patients, but also the people who work for the
Greater Hudson Valley Health System; and

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their community and have shown a
long and sustained commitment to excellence certainly have earned the
recognition and applause of all the citizens of this great Empire State;
now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Amy Davidoff upon the occasion of her designation as recipient of
a Young Professionals Award by the Sullivan County Democrat; and be it
further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Amy Davidoff.
