HONORING Joseph Adamo upon the occasion of
celebrating his 100th Birthday
WHEREAS, The State of New York takes great pride in acknowledging
significant milestones in the distinguished lives of its esteemed
citizens; and
WHEREAS, Joseph Adamo was born on May 28, 1918, and will celebrate
his 100th Birthday on May 28, 2018; and
WHEREAS, Joseph Adamo served his country with honor during World War
II, and was stationed in the Peleliu Islands; and
WHEREAS, Joseph Adamo also owned a successful gas station in the
Bronx for many years; and
WHEREAS, Joseph Adamo moved to Brewster, New York, from Yonkers in
2009; and
WHEREAS, Joseph Adamo and his loving wife, Rose, are the proud
parents of Frankie, Bobby, Michael, and Judy; and
WHEREAS, Joseph Adamo is father-in-law to Mary Ann, Liz, Paul, and
the late Carolann Adamo; and
WHEREAS, Joseph Adamo has also been blessed with five grandchildren
and one great-grandchild; and
WHEREAS, Joseph Adamo has inspired others through his wisdom, humor,
and enthusiasm; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Joseph Adamo upon the occasion of celebrating his 100th Birthday;
and be it further
RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Joseph Adamo.
