COMMENDING Tom Waring upon the occasion of his
designation for special recognition by the Lawsuit
Reform Alliance of New York

WHEREAS, The quality and character of life in this Nation, and the
great State of New York, is reflective of the purposeful lives and good
works of those civic-minded community members who dedicate their lives
and careers to the service of others; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to commend Tom Waring
upon the occasion of his designation for special recognition by the
Lawsuit Reform Alliance of New York celebrated at its Annual Meeting in
Albany, New York; and

WHEREAS, Established on September 1, 2010, the Lawsuit Reform
Alliance of New York is a broad based coalition of hardworking New York
business leaders, professionals and taxpayers who are committed to
changing New York's burdensome and expensive legal system to help create
more jobs and energize the state's economy; and

WHEREAS, Tom Waring is being recognized for his efforts in reducing
"frivolous" litigation and related laws which create unnecessary
expenses for New York State businesses and taxpayers; and

WHEREAS, Currently, Tom Waring is a principal with GGW Capital Group
of Hamburg, New York, a financial advisory group focused on the
importance of clients' human capital; in this capacity, he helps people
gain clarity on their entire financial picture and manage and grow their
core wealth; and

WHEREAS, A singular asset to all of the citizens he has served in
the community of the State of New York, Tom Waring's life and career are
a portrait of preeminence in public service, and present a role model
for all who aspire to a career in public service; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Tom Waring upon the occasion of his designation for special
recognition by the Lawsuit Reform Alliance of New York; and be it
further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Tom Waring.
