CONGRATULATING Bryce Rowe upon the occasion of
winning the New York State Public High School
Athletic Association, Section VI, Division 2
Wrestling Championship

WHEREAS, Excellence and success in competitive sports can only be
achieved by those outstanding individuals who demonstrate the qualities
that lead to success in athletics, academics and life in this great
Empire State; and

WHEREAS, It is the intent of this Legislative Body to recognize
those young people within our community who, by achieving outstanding
success in athletic competitions, have inspired and brought pride to
their school district and community; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
congratulate Bryce Rowe upon the occasion of winning the New York State
Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA), Section VI, Division
2 Wrestling Championship; and

WHEREAS, This was truly an outstanding season for Senior Bryce Rowe
who compiled an impressive record of 42-3, and one that will go down in
the record books for all time; he now holds the distinction of being one
of the top wrestlers in the State; and

WHEREAS, Bryce Rowe won the 160-pound NYSPHSAA Championship with a
2-1 decision over ranked No. 1 Jacob Nolan of Section VII Saranac; Bryce
was able to claim the first ever individual State title for Chautauqua
Lake/Westfield/Panama in regulation; and

WHEREAS, Bryce Rowe ends his high school wrestling career as a State
champion and truly at the top of his game; and

WHEREAS, Excellence and success in competitive sports can only be
achieved through strenuous practice and team spirit, nurtured by
dedicated coaching and strategic planning; Bryce Rowe was able to share
this State championship win with his family and especially his Uncle and
Coach of Chautauqua Lake/Westfield/Panama, Brad Rowe; and

WHEREAS, It is the intent of this Legislative Body to publicly
recognize those high school athlete-scholars who have achieved notable
success in this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate Bryce Rowe for his perseverance and dedication in aspiring
for success in his high school wrestling career, and for winning the New
York State Public High School Athletic Association, Section VI, Division
2 Wrestling Championship; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Bryce Rowe.
