COMMENDING Jack Ingber posthumously upon the
occasion of his induction into the Fallsburg Central
School District Hall of Fame on July 14, 2018

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to recognize and
pay tribute to those distinguished citizens who devote their time and
energies to the service of their community and profession, participating
in civic affairs and enhancing the character and quality of life for all
citizens; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commend Jack Ingber posthumously upon the occasion of his induction into
the Fallsburg Central School District Hall of Fame to be celebrated at
its Alumni Association Luncheon on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at the
Woodbourne Fire House in Woodbourne, New York; and

WHEREAS, The Fallsburg Central School District Hall of Fame was
created by the Board of Education as a way to honor and celebrate
individuals who are truly dedicated to their community, and serve as
living treasures to thousands of students and their families; and

WHEREAS, A dedicated member of his community, Jack Ingber truly
believed in the value of public education and strived to make it better
as a 20-year member of the Fallsburg Central School District School
Board; for many of those years, he held the title of President; and

WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of his professional and
community service, a period of constructive involvement, Jack Ingber
stood constant in dignity, good grace and humor; and

WHEREAS, Jack Ingber clearly had an enduring impact on the youth of
the Fallsburg Central School District, as well as on the
community-at-large, and accordingly merits recognition and applause for
his impressive dedication to others; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their profession and community,
and have shown a long and sustained commitment to excellence, certainly
have earned the recognition and applause of all citizens of this great
Empire State; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Jack Ingber posthumously upon the occasion of his induction into
the Fallsburg Central School District Hall of Fame on July 14, 2018; and
be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to the family of Jack Ingber.
