COMMENDING Brazilian Babes Waxing Salon upon the
occasion of celebrating its 4th Anniversary

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize the
achievements of those individuals and businesses which substantially
contribute to the economic vitality of their communities and the entire
Empire State; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commend Brazilian Babes Waxing Salon upon the occasion of celebrating
its 4th Anniversary; and

WHEREAS, Brazilian Babes Waxing Salon was founded by a woman who
believes that esthetically maintaining your bottom is just as important
as other body parts when you're a Babe; and

WHEREAS, Brazilian Babes Waxing Salon, founded in 2014, is an
upscale Beauty Boutique owned and operated by licensed Esthetician
LaShana "Monique" Bivens; and

WHEREAS, When building Brazilian Babes, Monique Bivens strived to
create the perfect atmosphere for her Babes (customers), which consist
of men and women from diverse backgrounds looking to receive skincare
services that are equally beneficial and convenient; and

WHEREAS, All Estheticians at Brazilian Babes are licensed, with
years of experience in the beauty industry ensuring they are able to
execute all services implemented at the salon; and

WHEREAS, Monique Bivens has personally trained all employees and
equipped them with her special quality technique to provide services
that are unparalleled to any other salon; and

WHEREAS, At Brazilian Babes Waxing Salon Monique Bivens and her
staff pride themselves on providing top notch customer service and
educating their clients on how to properly maintain their beauty and
skincare regimes once leaving the salon; and

WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body
acknowledges this exceptional business and its contributions to the
local and State economies, fully confident that it will continue to
enjoy the sparkling successes it has experienced thus far; now,
therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Brazilian Babes Waxing Salon upon the occasion of celebrating
its 4th Anniversary; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Monique Bivens, Brazilian Babes Waxing Salon.
