HONORING Keller Williams Upstate New York
Properties upon the occasion of its designation as
recipient of the Otsego County Chamber of Commerce
2017 Key Bank, NA 18th Annual Small Business of the
Year Award on November 16, 2017

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize the
achievements of those individuals and businesses that contribute
substantially to the economic vitality of their communities, thereby
enhancing economic well-being of the entire Empire State; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Keller Williams Upstate New York Properties upon the occasion of its
designation as recipient of the Otsego County Chamber of Commerce 2017
Key Bank, NA 18th Annual Small Business of the Year Award, to be
celebrated with a banquet on Thursday, November 16, 2017, at The Otesaga
Resort Hotel, Cooperstown, New York; and

WHEREAS, Now in its 31st year, the Otsego County Chamber of Commerce
has served the businesses and communities of Otsego County with programs
and services designed to foster strong economic growth and make the
county a great place to live and work; it is proud to be a vibrant and
active organization which strives to evolve and adapt to the changing
needs of the business community; and

WHEREAS, The Otsego County Chamber of Commerce annually presents its
Small Business of the Year Award to an Otsego County business enterprise
which has made a sustained and substantial impact in the community; and

WHEREAS, Keller Williams Upstate New York Properties has assisted
property owners in Central New York buy, sell or lease residential,
commercial, income properties or land; since 2014, the business has
helped nearly 1,500 people buy or sell their dream properties; and

WHEREAS, With a steadfast and unwavering commitment to its
community, Keller Williams Upstate New York Properties has greatly
contributed to local food pantries through commission donations and
their Fighting-Hunger Friday initiatives; and

WHEREAS, Keller Williams Upstate New York Properties also collects
goods and funds through community door-knocking campaigns for The Lord's
Table and Hamilton Food Cupboard, as well as collecting pet food and
supplies for the Susquehanna and Heart of Catskills animal shelters; and

WHEREAS, In addition, agents of this remarkable business have
volunteered countless hours of service to Athelas Therapeutic Riding,
where they cleaned stalls, washed equipment and completed repair work;
and

WHEREAS, Keller Williams Upstate New York Properties exemplifies the
success and contributions of small businesses, the spirit of

collaboration as well as the drive to develop our leaders of tomorrow;
and

WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body
acknowledges this exceptional business, its contributions to the local
and state economies, and its vibrant role in improving the quality of
life in its community, fully confident that it will continue to enjoy
the sparkling successes it has experienced thus far; now, therefore, be
it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Keller Williams Upstate New York Properties upon the occasion of
its designation as recipient of the Otsego County Chamber of Commerce
2017 Key Bank, NA 18th Annual Small Business of the Year Award on
November 16, 2017; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Keller Williams Upstate New York Properties.
