Senate Resolution No. 154

HONORING Peter DelGado upon the occasion of his
designation as recipient of the International
Association of Plastics Distribution Pacesetter
Award

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Peter DelGado upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of the
International Association of Plastics Distribution (IAPD) Pacesetter
Award; this momentous occasion was celebrated at the 62nd Annual IAPD
Convention and Plastics Showcase in Washington, D.C.; and

WHEREAS, Peter DelGado, senior director of sales and customer
service and a 32-year employee of Curbell Plastics, is receiving this
most prestigious honor in recognition of his impact on the association's
growing membership and prominence in the performance plastics industry;
and

WHEREAS, As chair of the IAPD Membership Committee, Peter DelGado
leads the association's efforts to recruit and retain member companies
who demonstrate stewardship of the supply chain; and

WHEREAS, Peter DelGado has also served the association as a member
of its board of directors and played a key role in several working
committees and task forces; and

WHEREAS, The success of Curbell Plastics is in direct correlation to
the efforts of Peter DelGado, whose involvement is, and always has been,
characterized by an impressive commitment, an unbridled enthusiasm, and
an uncompromising standard of excellence in all endeavors on behalf of
the company and the community it serves; and

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body that when
individuals of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our
attention, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens
of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Peter DelGado upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of
the International Association of Plastics Distribution Pacesetter Award;
and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Peter DelGado.
