COMMEMORATING the 25th Anniversary of the
Pumpernickel's Deli, Restaurant and Pub, in New
Hartford, New York

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize
illustrious culinary establishments which have positively impacted and
substantially contributed to the vitality of their communities; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the Pumpernickel's Deli, Restaurant
and Pub, in New Hartford, New York; this milestone was celebrated with a
Ribbon Cutting ceremony on Thursday, November 8, 2018, with many staff
members, board members, ambassadors, and catalysts in attendance; a
variety of food was offered and the music was provided by Frank "Cheech"
Cannistra; and

WHEREAS, Locally owned and operated, the Pumpernickel's Deli,
Restaurant and Pub serves lunch and dinner in its dining room or in the
Pub and Wine Bar six days a week; the menu is an extensive array of
sandwiches, platters and New York style deli menu items along with
original recipe creations; and

WHEREAS, The remarkable success of the Pumpernickel's Deli,
Restaurant and Pub is due in large part to Owner, President and Chef,
Phillip J. Amodio, his two Chefs, Todd Cannistra and Almir Sabljkovic,
and his staff, Annette, Barb, Juanita, Angela, Kalifornia, and Sarah,
whose warmth and hospitality are easily recognized by their loyal
patrons; this dynamic team is well-versed in customer service and truly
makes everyone who walks through their door feel like family; and

WHEREAS, For two and a half decades, Pumpernickel's Deli, Restaurant
and Pub has stood as a beloved establishment which has provided a
friendly, open environment for patrons to collectively gather and share
their thoughts, ideas and life experiences; and

WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body
acknowledges this exceptional business and its contributions to the
local and State economies, fully confident that it will continue to
enjoy the sparkling successes it has experienced thus far; now,
therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the Pumpernickel's Deli, Restaurant
and Pub, in New Hartford, New York, and to offer best wishes to Phillip
J. Amodio for continued success in all his future endeavors; and be it
further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Chef Phillip J. Amodio, Owner/President, Pumpernickel's
Deli, Restaurant and Pub.
