Local Senators come together to address regional issues at the first and second Hudson Valley Delegation meeting hosted by Senator Morahan and Senator Klein in Rockland County.
In an effort to ensure the Hudson Valley is fairly represented in all legislative matters before the Senate, local Senators have formed a bipartisan delegation to more effectively advocate for the needs and concerns of their constituents.
The first order of business taken up by the delegation was a recent meeting with new MTA Chairman Jay Walder, who came to listen to the grievances of the Senators. Together they hope for future collaboration to lessen the burden of the MTA payroll tax and to improve services in the region.
