On Friday morning August 13. New York State Senator Frank Padavan attended the graduation ceremony for the Asian-American Coalition for Education at Francis Lewis High School in Fresh Meadows. The event celebrated the achievements of the students as the new school year approaches. The Asian-American Coalition for Education is a not-for-profit educational organization for elementary, middle school, and high school students and is compromised mainly of Asian-American students and newly immigrated families residing in New York City. The organization seeks to encourage members to participate in the educational system and provide them with information vital to their educational experience.
