State Senator Hugh T. Farley (R, C, I - Schenectady) met with local members of the New York State county Highway Superintendents Association on March 9th when they came to Albany to discuss their 2011 Local Roads Matter Advocacy Program. Discussion topics included CHIPS (Consolidated Local Street and Highway Improvement Program) funding, establishing a local bridge and culvert initiative, and reforming the Dedicated Highway and Bridge Trust Fund. Those who met with Senator Farley included: James Berry of Ephratah, Art Logan of Palatine, Bill Holvig of Mohawk, Jim Berry of Ephratah, Eric Bowerman of Canajoharie, Stanley Korona of Charleston, Charles Vosburgh of Palatine, Bill Weller of Florida, Paul Clayburn of Montgomery County, Steve Perog of Duanesburg, Mike Emerich of Charlton, David McBurne of Harrisville, Wayne Palmatier and Warren Shaw.
