Senator Robach Presents State Resolutions to Hilton Firefighters

On Saturday, March 19th, Senator Robach presented New York State Resolutions to William Carter and Past Chief Steve Burritt. The members of the Hilton Fire Department were honored for 50 years of service during the department's annual banquet.

Since 1958, Stephen Lloyd Burritt has held many important ranks within the Hilton Fire Department, including Lieutenant from 1970 to 1971, Captain from 1972 to 1973, Deputy Chief from 1974 to 1976, and Chief from 1977 to 1978; and Throughout his many years of dedicated service as a firefighter, Stephen Lloyd Burritt has served in a variety of esteemed positions such as Commissioner of Parma Fire Department and as a career firefighter with the Eastman Kodak Company, from which he retired as a Lieutenant; currently, he is the Commissioner of the Hilton-Parma Fire Department, a title he has held since 2006.

Since 1960, William Carter has held many important ranks within the Hilton Fire Department, including Lieutenant in 1967, Captain from 1968 to 1969, Deputy Chief from 1970 to 1973, and Chief from 1974 to 1976; and throughout his many years of dedicated service as a firefighter, William Carter has served in a variety of esteemed positions such as Department Trustee from 1979 to 1981, Fire Commissioner from 1986 to 1992, and Monroe County Deputy Fire Coordinator from 1980 through 2005; in addition, he served as Hilton Trustee and Mayor.
