New York Blood Center (NYBC) is urgently calling on Long Islanders to roll up their sleeves to help fill the void.  According to the NYBC, the cancellations and corresponding loss of donations has led to a low supply of blood – especially O-Negative.

NYBC has events scheduled daily where people can donate and are always welcoming donors to visit one of their walk-in centers.
