Islip Terrace, N.Y. – As negotiations continue on the 2012-13 State Budget, State Senator Lee M. Zeldin (R, C, I- Shirley), State Senator John Flanagan (R, C, I- East Northport), chair of the Senate Education Committee, State Senator Owen J. Johnson (R, C, I- West Babylon), and Suffolk County Legislator Tom Cilmi (R, C, I- Bay Shore), attended the East Islip School District’s Legislative Breakfast this past Friday, March 23, 2012, to discuss the district’s fiscal priorities and ways to ensure equitable funding for our schools here on Long Island.
