Leader Stewart-Cousins handed a Certificate of Recognition to Dr. Elliott Palais whom she inducted as New York State Senate 2013 Veteran Hall of Fame on Tuesday, May 21st in Albany, NY. Dr. Palais is a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean War. He is currently the Secretary for the Yonkers Central Committee of Veterans Organization.
