Senator Adams and colleagues honor Ms. Collman on Senior Citizen's Recognition Day

In Albany, Senator Adams along with Senator Parker and Assemblymember Millman honored Hazel Collman at the 2013 Senior Citizens' Recognition Day.  Ms. Collman was recognized for her 20 years of extraordinary civic engagement and volunteerism to her community. She is a resident Brooklyn, who has served the President of 300 East 25th Street Block Association; President Bethel Holy Church Usher Board; Peer Leader CAMBA Anit-Stigma HIV/AIDS; Volunteer for R.S.V.P.; Catholic Charities Heart Share Division; and Brooklyn Botanical Gardens.  

Ms. Collman is a member of the following organizations as well:  Neighborhood Housing Services of East Flatbush; Community Board 17, Services for the Undeserved Human Resources Department; 67th Precinct Council; Tilden Hall Residence (Shelter) Advisory Board; Ms. Collman is also appointed to the Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD); and an alumni member of the New York Department Citizen's Police Academy.
