Senator Bonacic Celebrates Orange County Clerk Donna Benson as a 2013 Woman of Distinction

Senator John Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) is proud to recognize a truly distinguished woman and leader in our district, Orange County Clerk Donna Benson. On May 7, 2013, Ms. Benson was honored in the Capitol as one of the 2013 New York State Women of Distinction. Ms. Benson's devotion to Orange County throughout her life and her career is impressive. She has made an impact on the lives of so many through her community involvement, particularly through her leadership in so many community organizations. Ms. Benson's commitment to Orange County is also demonstrated through her career in public service. Ms. Benson has been the Orange County Clerk since 1998. She has worked in various capacities for Orange County throughout her career, and has always demonstrated a strong professional work ethic. She will be retiring from her position as County Clerk this year. Senator Bonacic chose her as the 2013 Woman of Distinction in recognition of her many years of dedicated service.
