Pierson Park Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

(Tarrytown - September 9th) Senator Stewart-Cousins joined Mayor Drew Fixell, Village Administrator Michael Blau, and other elected officials and friends at a ribbon cutting ceremony which celebrated the opening of the redesigned and revitalized Pierson Park and Andre Brook in the Village of Tarrytown. Since the revilatization project began in 2008, the Senator has been a strong supporter of the Village's efforts to create an oasis and recreation spot along the Hudson River which was made possible by a total of $3.2 million in grants from various agencies including the Department of State ($2.37 million).
