Senator Farley Salutes Lou Grasso As an Outstanding Citizen

State Senator Hugh T. Farley (R, C, I – Schenectady) had the pleasure of presenting a New York State Senate Citation to Lou Grasso of Schenectady. He was an honoree at the New York State Office for the Aging Senior Citizens’ Day that was held May 6th in Albany. At the day, the State Office for Aging, along with county offices for the aging, honored older citizens from around the State, with a focus on those who have lent their expertise to their communities through volunteerism.

Senator Farley presented a Senate Citation to Mr. Grasso for his tireless dedicated to the Woodlawn community, having served as vice president and current co-president of the Woodlawn Neighborhood Association in Schenectady County. Mr. Grasso is also active in the Woodlawn Park Redevelopment Committee and Friends of the Woodlawn Preserve. He is also active in the St. Paul the Apostle Church and severed with the National Guard for nine years. Overall, Mr. Grasso has been an active volunteer in his community for 40 years. His wife, Carmela, was on hand for the presentation.
